Rubicon Grove Nursing Home - Shearwater
Currently under construction, Rubicon Grove Nursing Home is due to open in early 2009. Set in a delightful costal district, Rubicon Grove Nursing Home will prove to be an outstanding example of integrated aged care in the community.
This 60 bed facility will be largely open plan in design, with colours and motifs reflecting its seaside setting.
The centre will be adjacent to the new Port Sorell Shopping Plaza, also currently under development. The shopping centre will include restaurants and cafes, hairdressers, doctors, pharmacists and a child care facility. A local bus service will make the area easily accessible for anyone without a car.
