Barossa Park - Glenorchy
Currently in the final planning stages, Barossa Park is due to open the Nursing Home in 2009 and Independent Living Units in Late 2010. Set at the foot of Mt Wellington, Barossa Park will be an outstanding example of integrated aged care in the community.
This 128 bed facility will incorporate a local community centre as well as a café, restaurant and cinema. The centre will have an active multi-cultural focus, and become an active part of the local community.
Construction will be in three phases:
1. Nursing Home
2. Community Centre
3. Retirement Village
